MCC Venturing Leadership Council Contacts for VLC officers
What is Venturing? Venturing is the young adult program of Boy Scouts of America for men and women 14(who have completed the eighth grade) through 20 years of age. Local community organizations such as professional organizations, churches, and civic groups initiate specific Venturing crews. They do this by matching the interests of young adults with the people and program resources within their own organizations. The program of the Boy Scouts of America is to provide young adults, through these community organizations, en effective Venturing program designed to build character, promote citizenship, and develop personal and mental fitness. Each crew has the responsibility of achieving this purpose by designing its own program. When

What’s New in the VLC? Currently we have been adjusting the By Laws so that it will work for the better of the VLC. We are hoping that with these changes we will be able to communicate better with everyone so that they know what all is going on. Also I think that it would be nice to have pictures of different crews doing different things so if you have a picture that you would like to have posted please email it to the Secretary and we will do our best to get it on as soon as possible just give a short description on what all is going on in the picture.
