News & Information

Nature of Leadership Treks
Picture yourself enjoying an extreme high adventure trek in some remote setting while also learning usable leadership skills.  That's what you'll do on Venturing's Nature of Leadership Treks.  Meet this outdoor challenge while learning skills by doing, not by studying or reading.

Powder Horn High Adventure Skills Resource Course
Hosted by the Mecklenburg County Council, Powder Horn is a training opportunity for adult leaders.  It is designed to expose the leaders to the resources necessary to operate a successful high adventure program.

Venturing Rendezvous
This is the spring Rendezvous for Venturers form the Mecklenburg County Council and nearby councils.  It will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2003 at Camp Grimes Scout Reservation.  Choose from several exciting opportunities for challenges: shooting, mountain biking, climbing, land navigation, kayaks & canoes.  View the reservation form to reserve your crew's space.
