Webelos Leader Outdoor Training

For all Webelos Leaders and soon to be Leaders. This is training to help Webelos Leaders learn the skills necessary to successfully implement the Webelos program. Incorporating the adage "3/4 of Scouting is Outing", the course is conducted out-of-doors, rain or shine. Outdoor skills of Cooking and Sanitation, Campfires, Knots, Woods Tools, Naturalist, Forester, First Aid, Fire building, Geologist, Outdoorsman, Selecting Campsites, Tents, Bedding and Weather are taught in the program. The emphasis is on Hands-on Training. It also prepares the leader to conduct Webelos overnight camping with the boys and parents of the den.
